Doug Kwiatkowski Joins Leadership Team as Chief Enterprise Architect of Private Wireless Networks to Expand Solutions Portfolio and Lead Customer Project Implementations

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, June 12, 2023 – RF Connect, an integrator specializing in wireless connectivity, announced that Doug Kwiatkowski has joined as Chief Enterprise Architect of Private Wireless Networks. In this role, he will expand the company’s private wireless solutions portfolio by providing a consultative approach to the enterprise in solving their current business problems and assisting in building a road map of the new enterprise architecture utilizing Private Wireless Networks along with other networks technologies. He will also give guidance on the disciplines needed to the specialized engineering team in RF Connect who are responsible for the design, deployment, and management of these networks.

As organizations increasingly rely on technology to transform their business, connectivity has become more critical than ever. Private Wireless Networks, which leverage cellular spectrum such as Citizens Band Radio Service (CBRS), are rapidly gaining market traction because they deliver wireless connectivity performance, reliability, and security at Wi-Fi economics. Most importantly, these networks empower the enterprise for the first time to control its wireless destiny.

Gartner, the technological research and consulting firm, affirms the importance of wireless connectivity by identifying it as one of the Top Technology Trends for 2023. The report predicts 60% of enterprises will deploy multiple wireless connectivity technologies by 2025. Additionally, the firm observes that wireless networks are viewed by enterprise leadership as having a higher business value than merely connectivity.

“The enterprise has been seeking a better connectivity solution to enable certain business-critical and mission-critical devices, services, and applications,” commented Doug Kwiatkowski, Chief Enterprise Architect of Private Wireless Networks at RF Connect. “As part of the connectivity toolkit, Private Wireless Networks complement existing connectivity investments and deliver technical and business advantages to optimize digital transformation strategies.”

A veteran of the wireless industry, Mr. Kwiatkowski held multiple positions at Verizon Wireless over a tenure of 28 years. Most recently, he was a Principal RF Engineer focused on 5G network deployments. Additionally, he has been working on private wireless services since the release of CBRS spectrum in 2015. He previously served as an engineer at one of the Big Three automakers.

“To meet the evolving needs of digital transformation, RF Connect has intentionally pioneered and innovated our solutions and services offerings,” said Leonard Kruszewski, President at RF Connect. “We’ve been at the forefront of deploying Private Wireless Networks and continue to do so as evidenced by having integrated one of the market’s first Multi-Operator Core Networks (MOCN). We are thrilled to welcome Doug to the team to help take this practice to the next level and to oversee that we deliver exceptional value to our customers and partners.”
