OUR BRAND STORY

Consistent with the world’s most powerful brands: Apple, Disney, The Ramones…RF Connect’s origin story begins in the humblest of settings — the garage. Leonard Kruszewski began RF Connect at his home in Milford, Michigan with the goal of being a leader in the burgeoning field of wireless communications. Leonard christened his new endeavor “RF Connect,” combining the technology wink of “RF” (radio frequency), with the universal benefit of human connectivity. With the new name, and a new laser focus on in-building wireless communications, RF Connect pioneered, and quickly became the premier provider of wireless services in commercial, governmental, and public venues. Once Leonard established the company he knew he couldn’t go it alone. It is a fact of life, but tragedy often births triumph. Such in the case of RF Connect’s next chapter. Leonard was attending the funeral of a treasured past employee when he saw and reconnected with a former business colleague—and Clover Technologies Group founder-George Riley. The two kindred spirits realized their shared belief and desire to lead a business that focuses not only on a quality product and service, but on people and family as well. At first, Leonard and George cast a wide net of offerings, performing superbly in all, but excelling in the wireless and cellular needs of overarching in-building communication…especially in the areas of emergency and disaster communications. With this, RF Connect found its calling and proceeded to become the gold standard in code compliant wireless communications-a crucial and critical component to ensuring accidents never become tragedies in themselves.

Leonard soon turned to longtime friend and contemporary Jeff Hipchen. Jeff and Leonard had been friends for years and shared the same philosophies and customer centric service desires, so they picked up where they had last left off and decided to join forces.

RF Connect is proud of its industry leadership, yet humbled by the recognition. However, business is a marathon, and RF Connect has never been a company that rest on its laurels. These pioneers are now taking the expertise and know-how that they have garnered over the decades and applying it in new applications and ever-expanding areas. The shotgun fire that has characterized their corporate growth has now transformed into a rifle shot towards focused service, extrapolated and applied to new areas of communication. This rifle shot has fostered a desire to evolve the brand and positioning associated with RF Connect. Introducing the RF Connect Tower: The tower in our logo was not chosen randomly. It is a symbol that sends a signal to the world. A signal that says, “We’re strong. We rise high above the competition. We reach higher than our last effort to always deliver cost-effective solutions to meet the demands our clients have for broadband wireless networks, systems, and infrastructure.” In addition, our new color palette is a nod to the bright, progressive and bold technology, strategy and future we bring to the game…every day! Finally, our new positioning line, “Intelligence Begins Here,” is our line drawn in the sand that simply communicates to the world that, if you are looking for the most intelligent solution for broadband wireless networks, systems, infrastructure or anything that the future holds, it begins with the beautiful minds of RF Connect. As leaders driving the success of RF Connect like to say —in wireless communications, the ears must always be tuned to the present, but the eyes must always be focused on the future.

In a heterogenous network, multiple tools may support an application or service. For instance, #inbuilding smartphone coverage could be supported by #WiFi or by traditional licensed #cellular enhancement solutions or, in the future, by #CBRS-enabled networks.
