The Platinum Maintenance Package encompasses a preventive maintenance service that forecasts and detects system problems immediately and includes an annual maintenance visit on-site. Should a problem occur, we have the ability to pinpoint and diagnose the problem immediately and can execute the quickest repair service Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) available. This program includes full services on a 24-hour, 7 days per week basis through our remote monitoring capabilities.
Network Operations Center (NOC) Monitoring Services: Remote monitoring services include a remote access wireless device used for the duration of the maintenance contract. The remote access feature allows for access for system troubleshooting and alarming via the RF Connect Network Operations Center. This option ensures that any compromises to your wireless infrastructure will be detected, communicated and acted upon immediately by the sophisticated alarm and monitoring service.
Technician Dispatch: This package includes a 24/7 dispatch of a technician within the call-out times in the Maintenance and Support SLA. This service will ensure that your system is functioning again with the minimal amount of downtime and disruption possible.
Customer Tech Support Call Center: RF Connect maintains a toll-free support line for maintenance and tech support issues. This maintenance package offers 24/7 access to the Tech Support Call Center hotline.
Spares Depot Access: RF Connect offers inventory management of spare component parts to support customer systems. This maintenance package allows for ease in access to spare components and less complication in the return of spare parts to the manufacturer. If clients purchase a set of spares, they have immediate access to them because spare components are stored at the client site.
Free Software and Firmware Upgrades: Equipment OEMs occasionally release software and firmware upgrades either to fix product issues or to improve product performance. This maintenance package includes free upgrades through the remote access link for software releases. Prior to any software upgrades, approval will be received and scheduled with the DAS owner.
Monthly Maintenance Reports: This maintenance package includes a monthly maintenance report which identifies any alarms, dispatches, and repair occurrences and their results.
Annual Network Performance/Availability Report: This maintenance package includes an annual Network Performance and Availability Report that summarizes the system performance, alarms, dispatches, repairs, and results over the prior year. These reporting functions help to determine the level of system performance and information and potentially enhance future system functionality.
Annual Preventive Maintenance Service Visit: The Platinum Package includes an annual on-site preventive maintenance visit where a technician will:
- Execute a thorough check and clean of all fans and filters
- Conduct a spectrum analysis to verify system power levels
- Check that fiber levels are unchanged to aid in the detection of any degradation or changes in the fiber backbone
- Spot check wireless service operation throughout the facility
Our preventive maintenance viewpoint follows the maxim “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” RF Connect believes that routinely maintaining the system through cleaning and testing, and then benchmarking the testing results will aid in the prevention of event failures.
